Place a headcover well left of the target line beyond the ball and swing so the club exits inside it, not far right of it.

Place a headcover on the ground well outside the target line, beyond and left of the ball.
Set a second marker closer in to define the outer limit of your exit gate.
Hit shots trying to keep the clubhead's path after impact inside the gate.
Adjust the gate width narrower as your path becomes more consistent.

Cap how far in-to-out the path is allowed to go after impact.
Gefühl
Feel the club finish inside the gate instead of racing out to the right.

Don't manipulate the face to compensate — let the path change do the work.
