Arm's-Length Address Check
Hold a club horizontally between your body and the grip end of your address club to confirm a consistent arm's-length distance from the ball.

How to do it
Set up to the ball as you normally would.
Check that your arms hang down naturally from your shoulders, not stretched out.
If you're reaching, step slightly closer and recheck your posture.
Repeat the check before every shot for a full range session.
Goal
Fix a setup that's too far from the ball, which forces the arms to reach and the hands to pull in for contact.
Feel cue
Feel your arms hang naturally without stretching to reach the club.
Mistake to avoid
Don't stand so close that your arms feel cramped — the goal is natural, not tight.
