How to do it
Stick a piece of tape on a wall or mirror at the height of your eyes in your normal posture.
Set up facing the wall from a few feet away, without a ball.
Make slow backswings, checking your eye line stays level with the tape.
Repeat until the head stays level without needing the visual reference.
Goal
Give a physical reference point so the head cannot drop lower during the backswing.
Feel cue
Feel your eye line stay level with the mark on the wall throughout the backswing.
Mistake to avoid
Standing so tall to avoid the wall that your posture stiffens up.
