How to do it
Loop a resistance band around your chest and anchor the other end behind you.
Take a golf posture facing away from the anchor point.
Rotate through to a full finish position against the band's pull.
Hold the finish for 2 seconds, feeling the resistance in your ribcage, not your arms.
Complete 3 sets of 10 reps.
Goal
Build the rotational strength to keep turning the chest all the way through impact into the finish instead of stalling.
Feel cue
Feel the band pull your chest back while you fight to turn it fully toward the target.
Mistake to avoid
Using your arms to pull against the band instead of turning your ribcage — an arms-only fight against the band is the same "arms-only release" habit that causes the stall on real shots.
