Belt Buckle Turn Check
Pause the backswing halfway back and check in the mirror that the hips have already started rotating, not just the arms lifting.

How to do it
Set up side-on to a mirror or camera in your normal address position.
Start the backswing and pause when your hands reach hip height.
Check that your belt buckle has already turned away from square, not still facing the ball.
Adjust and repeat until the body turn is leading, then continue to a full backswing.
Goal
Confirm the body is turning early in the backswing rather than the arms swinging up on their own.
Feel cue
Feel your belt buckle already turning away from the ball by the time your hands reach hip height.
Mistake to avoid
Letting the arms race ahead while the hips and chest stay square to the ball.
