How to do it
Place a chair just behind and outside your trail hip, lightly touching it at address.
Make a slow backswing, keeping the trail hip in contact with the chair.
Let the chair stop the hip turning too far while your shoulders keep turning.
If the hip slides into the chair sideways, reset and turn it back, not out.
Repeat for 3 sets of 8.
Goal
Limit the hip turn to about half the shoulder turn while keeping the trail hip from sliding.
Feel cue
Feel the trail hip rotate back against the chair while your chest keeps turning.
Mistake to avoid
Sliding the trail hip into the chair sideways; it should turn against it, not push it.
