How to do it
Loop a light resistance band around both thighs, just above the knees.
Stand in your golf posture with feet shoulder-width apart.
Slowly rotate your hips side to side against the light resistance of the band.
Perform ten rotations each way, then take a few practice backswings noticing the increased hip freedom.
Goal
Increase hip rotation capacity so the body no longer needs the heel to lift to complete the turn.
Feel cue
Feel gentle tension around your thighs as your hips rotate more freely.
Mistake to avoid
Using a band tight enough that it changes your normal stance width.
