Path Corridor Sticks
Set two alignment sticks forming a corridor for the downswing so the path can't swing too far from inside to out.
- Duration
- 8 min
- Reps
- 15 balls
- Equipment
- alignment stick
- Level
- Intermediate
How to do it
Set one alignment stick along your target line just outside the ball.
Set a second stick further outside it to create a corridor for the downswing.
Hit shots keeping the clubhead traveling inside the corridor through impact.
Narrow the corridor gradually as consistency improves.
Goal
Give the swing a physical boundary so the in-to-out path settles into a workable range.
Feel cue
Feel the club travel inside the corridor rather than escaping out the right side.
Mistake to avoid
Don't narrow the corridor so much you have to steer the club to avoid it.
