How to do it
Take your golf address position without a club, noting the flex in both knees.
Hold that exact knee flex for twenty seconds, breathing normally.
Relax, then repeat two more times.
Take a few practice swings afterward, aiming to keep the same knee feel throughout.
Goal
Build the leg strength and body awareness needed to keep flex in the knees throughout the backswing.
Feel cue
Feel gentle tension in your thighs as you hold the soft-knee position.
Mistake to avoid
Squatting so low that the position becomes a strain rather than your normal address flex.
