Standing Pelvic Tilt Reset

Without a club, rock your pelvis between an arched and a flat position to feel the difference before you swing.

Duration
3 min
Reps
2 sets of 10
Equipment
none
Level
Beginner

How to do it

  1. Stand tall with your hands on your hips, feet shoulder-width apart.

  2. Arch your lower back and push your belt buckle forward, feeling the position to avoid.

  3. Reverse it by tucking your pelvis under and flattening your lower back.

  4. Repeat 10 slow reps, feeling the difference between the two positions.

  5. Take a few practice swings finishing in the flattened, tucked-under version.

Goal

Build body awareness of a neutral pelvis so a tall finish feels achievable without arching.

Feel cue

Feel your lower back flatten slightly as your belt buckle tucks up and under.

Mistake to avoid

Doing this quickly or under speed instead of slowly and deliberately — rushing it just grooves the same arched pattern that carries the back-strain risk into your real swing.
