How to do it
Lay a hand towel across your chest, tucking one end under each forearm.
Take your regular address position holding a club.
Turn your chest to start the takeaway, keeping the towel trapped for the first eighteen inches.
Let the towel drop naturally as the wrists begin to hinge further into the backswing.
Goal
Train the chest, arms and club to move away from the ball as one piece before the wrists hinge.
Feel cue
Feel the towel pressing on both forearms as your chest turns them away together.
Mistake to avoid
Squeezing the arms together so hard that the turn cannot happen at all.
