Trail-Foot Lift Finish
Swing to the finish and lift your trail foot completely off the ground, holding balance on your lead leg alone.

- 5 min

- Intermediate
How to do it
Take a practice swing to a full finish.
Once you're balanced, lift your trail foot completely off the ground.
Hold that one-legged finish for 3 seconds.
Reset if you need to hop or re-plant the foot to catch yourself.
Repeat for 3 sets of 8.
Goal
Prove full weight transfer by removing the trail foot as a balance crutch.
Feel cue
Feel all your weight already resting on your lead leg before your trail foot ever leaves the ground.
Mistake to avoid
Hopping or catching yourself with the trail foot as a landing pad instead of holding it up cleanly — a quick re-plant hides the weight-transfer problem this drill is meant to expose.
