How to do it
Take a normal setup with a club, without hitting a ball.
Swing to a full finish at about 75% effort.
Check that your trail foot has rolled up onto its toe, heel off the ground.
If the heel is still flat, pour more weight into your lead leg and swing again.
Repeat for 3 sets of 10, checking the foot every rep.
Goal
Confirm full weight transfer onto the lead leg so the back doesn't have to arch to find balance.
Feel cue
Feel nearly all your weight pour into your lead foot as your trail heel lifts.
Mistake to avoid
Rising up through the swing to help the heel come up, instead of rotating — reaching for the finish this way recreates the arched-back position and its back-strain risk.
