How to do it
Set up in your golf posture a few inches in front of a wall, with your seat lightly touching it.
Take slow backswings, keeping that light contact with the wall throughout.
Notice if you stand up or slump, both of which will break the contact.
Repeat until the spine angle holds automatically, then rehearse away from the wall.
Goal
Keep the spine angle set at address constant through the backswing instead of standing up or slumping.
Feel cue
Feel your seat stay lightly touching the wall as you turn back.
Mistake to avoid
Pushing hard into the wall instead of just maintaining light contact.
