Cómo hacerlo

  1. Lay an alignment stick on the ground just outside your ball, pointing at the target.

  2. Take slow takeaways, keeping the clubhead tracking just above the line of the stick.

  3. Pause at shaft-parallel and check the clubhead has neither ducked inside nor lifted outside the stick.

  4. Repeat until the path holds without needing to look down.

Objetivo

Give a visual reference for a neutral takeaway path, whether the club has been running inside or outside it.

Sensación

Feel the clubhead travel along the stick's line before it starts to work inside on its own.

Error a evitar

Looking down at the stick instead of trusting the feel once the checkpoint is learned.
