Comment faire

  1. Walk into the shot with your feet together and the clubface behind the ball.

  2. Set your feet so the ball sits just inside your lead instep.

  3. Step your trail foot back to create your stance width for the club in hand.

  4. Make only a small adjustment with the lead foot if the club is long or short.

  5. Use this walk-in on every shot for a full session.

Objectif

Build a routine that sets ball position automatically, so it cannot drift during a round.

Sensation

Feel your trail foot doing most of the stepping while the lead foot barely moves.

Erreur à éviter

Splitting both feet equally for every club — the lead foot stays roughly put and the trail foot sets the width, which is what keeps ball position consistent.
