How to do it
Take your normal address posture and notice the arch in your lower back.
Tuck your belt buckle up toward your chest about one inch.
Keep your chest tall as you do it, so only the pelvis moves.
Hold the position for five seconds and feel the lower back lengthen.
Reset and repeat for 3 sets of 10.
Goal
Take the exaggerated arch out of the lower back so the pelvis is free to rotate.
Feel cue
Feel your lower back go long and easy instead of pinched and short.
Mistake to avoid
Tucking so far that your back rounds and your chest collapses — one inch is the whole move, and overdoing it swaps an arched back for a slouched one.
