How to do it
Hold the club out in front of you and hinge into your golf posture.
Let go with one hand and let both arms hang straight down from your shoulders.
Notice exactly where your hands settle under your chest.
Take the club with both hands at that spot and shuffle your feet to reach the ball, rather than reaching with your arms.
Rebuild the setup 15 times.
Goal
Set the distance from the ball using where the arms naturally hang, rather than where the golfer thinks the ball should be.
Feel cue
Feel your arms hanging heavy and dead straight down, with no pull out toward the ball.
Mistake to avoid
Reaching out to the club after you have let the arms hang — if you have to reach, walk in closer to the ball instead of stretching your arms.
