Lead-Arm-Only Width Swings
Make slow backswings holding the club with only your lead hand so the arm has to stay long to control the weight.

How to do it
Take a short iron and hold it with your lead hand only.
Support the club lightly with your trail hand at address, then let go as you start back.
Swing slowly to the top, letting the clubhead's weight stretch your lead arm away from your chest.
Stop at the top and check the lead arm is still straight.
Repeat for 3 sets of 8, then hit a few normal two-handed swings.
Goal
Rebuild width at the top by removing the trail arm, which is what usually folds the swing in on itself.
Feel cue
Feel the weight of the clubhead pulling your lead arm long and away from your chest.
Mistake to avoid
Swinging fast enough that you have to bend the arm to stay in control — go slow enough that the arm can stay straight the whole way.
