Hands Away From Head
Stop at the top in front of a mirror and check there is a clear gap between your hands and the side of your head.

How to do it
Stand side-on to a mirror in your normal setup.
Swing slowly to the top and stop.
Look at the gap between your hands and the side of your head.
If the hands are close to your head, push them out away from you and feel that new position.
Repeat for 3 sets of 10, holding each corrected top for 2 seconds.
Goal
Give a simple visual checkpoint for width so a collapsed top position becomes obvious instead of invisible.
Feel cue
Feel your hands sitting far out away from your head, like you are holding a tray out in front of you.
Mistake to avoid
Leaning your head away from your hands to create the gap instead of pushing the hands out — tilting the head just fakes the checkpoint.
