How to do it
Take your address with a mid-iron.
Make a backswing that stops when your back faces the target.
Hold the top for a second and check your lead arm is still long.
Swing through to a full, balanced finish.
Repeat for 3 sets of 6, filming one swing from each set.
Goal
Stop the turn at the point where the back faces the target and the lead arm stays long.
Feel cue
Feel your lead shoulder stop under your chin and the club stop short of parallel.
Mistake to avoid
Letting the lead arm collapse to get a few more degrees; if the arm bends, the turn is already too long.
