Headcover Behind the Driver
Place a headcover about a foot behind the teed ball on the target line and swing without clipping it.

How to do it
Tee a ball up at normal driver height.
Place a headcover about a foot behind the ball, on the target line.
Build your driver setup with the trail shoulder lower than the lead one.
Swing through without clipping the headcover on the way down.
Hit 20 balls, resetting the headcover whenever you catch it.
Goal
Force a shallower, upward approach with the driver so the tilt at address gets used rather than wasted.
Feel cue
Feel the clubhead sweeping up off the ground as it reaches the ball, not chopping down at it.
Mistake to avoid
Hanging back on your trail foot through impact to miss the headcover — the tilt is set at address, not created in the downswing, so keep your normal weight shift.
