Hip Hinge Not Squat
Build your address by pushing your hips back and hinging forward, instead of bending your knees and sitting down into it.

How to do it
Stand tall with your feet shoulder width apart and hands on your hips.
Push your hips straight back and let your chest tip forward to follow.
Keep your knees only softly flexed, not bent down into a squat.
Check that you feel a stretch behind your thighs and pressure in mid-foot.
Stand up and rebuild the posture, 3 sets of 10.
Goal
Replace a sitting-back setup with a hinged one that puts the weight over the middle of the foot.
Feel cue
Feel a light stretch behind your thighs as your hips go back and your chest stays tall.
Mistake to avoid
Bending your knees more to get lower — deep knee bend drops your weight straight into your heels, which is the exact problem this drill exists to fix.
