Impact Hold to Address
Build the impact position statically with the hands ahead of the ball, hold it, then back out of it into address without losing the hand position.

How to do it
Take a mid iron and build an impact position: hips open, weight forward, hands ahead of the clubhead.
Hold that position for three seconds and memorize where your hands are.
Slowly rock back out of it into a normal address, moving only your body.
Check that your hands are still slightly ahead of the clubhead.
Repeat for 3 sets of 10.
Goal
Make a hands-ahead address feel like a smaller version of a good impact rather than a strange new position.
Feel cue
Feel your hands stay ahead of the clubhead as your body rocks back out of impact into address.
Mistake to avoid
Letting your hands drift back behind the ball as you unwind out of impact — the whole point is that the hand position survives the transition.
