How to do it
Take your address position without a ball.
Make a backswing, then start down feeling a small shift toward the target.
As you reach impact, feel your lead back pocket rotate around and behind you.
Hold the finish and check your back pocket is facing away from the target.
Repeat 10 times before hitting balls with the same feeling.
Goal
Convert a lateral hip slide into a true rotation around the body.
Feel cue
Feel your lead back pocket turn away from the target, not just your hip sliding toward it.
Mistake to avoid
Don't stop the lateral shift completely — you still need some, just add the turn on top of it.
