Club shaft parallel to the ground coming down — the mirror of P2. The last look before the club enters the hitting zone, by which point shaft plane and face orientation are already committed.
What to check
Down-the-Line (DTL)
Shaft on plane, or steep/under it? Clubface angle relative to the plane line.
Face-On (FO)
Hands still leading the clubhead, trail elbow in front of the hip, lag retained.
