How to do it

  1. Set up to a teed driver with your feet a little wider than shoulder width.

  2. Push your lead hip about an inch toward the target.

  3. Let your upper body tip away from the target in response, keeping your head behind the ball.

  4. Check that a little more pressure now sits in your trail foot.

  5. Rebuild the setup 15 times.

Goal

Create tilt from the ground up, so the weight is already favoring the trail side without leaning back.

Feel cue

Feel your lead hip nudge toward the target while your head stays behind the ball.

Mistake to avoid

Bumping the hip and dragging your head forward with it — the head should stay put or move slightly back, otherwise you have cancelled out the tilt you just created.
