Neutral Grip Reset

Rebuild the grip from scratch so the clubface returns square without compensations.

Duration
5 min
Reps
10 grips
Equipment
none
Level
Beginner

How to do it

  1. Place the club across the fingers of your lead hand

  2. Close your hand so the V between thumb and index points to your trail shoulder

  3. Add the trail hand so both Vs point the same direction

  4. Hold for 10 seconds, repeat 10 times

Goal

Build a neutral grip with 2.5 knuckles visible on the lead hand.

Feel cue

Lead-hand V points to your trail shoulder.

Mistake to avoid

Don't place the grip in the palm — it must run across the fingers.
