Toe and Heel Lift Test
From address, try to lift your toes and then your heels off the ground, and use how easy each one is to tell where your weight is.

How to do it
Take your normal address position and freeze.
Without moving anything else, try to lift your toes off the ground.
Reset, then try to lift your heels off the ground.
If the toes come up easily you are sitting in your heels; if the heels come up easily you are on your toes.
Adjust your balance and retest, 15 times total.
Goal
Give a two-second self-test that tells the golfer instantly whether they are sitting back or tipped forward.
Feel cue
Feel both lifts being equally hard, which means your weight is sitting right in the middle.
Mistake to avoid
Shifting your body to make the lift happen instead of testing from a still address — move the feet, not the body, or the test tells you nothing.
