How to do it
Take your driver setup with the ball off your lead heel.
Let go of the club with your trail hand.
Slide that hand down the outside of your trail leg toward your knee.
Stop when your trail shoulder sits clearly lower than your lead shoulder.
Put the hand back on the club without losing the tilt, and repeat 15 times.
Goal
Build the trail-side tilt that gives you room to strike the driver on the way up.
Feel cue
Feel your trail shoulder sitting lower than your lead one, like you are gently leaning away from the target.
Mistake to avoid
Sliding your hips toward the trail side to create the tilt — the hips should stay where they are and the upper body does the leaning, or you will have set up a sway instead of a tilt.
