Walk-In Ball Position
Approach every shot with your feet together and the ball off your lead instep, then split your stance to set the ball position the same way every time.

How to do it
Walk into the shot with your feet together and the clubface behind the ball.
Set your feet so the ball sits just inside your lead instep.
Step your trail foot back to create your stance width for the club in hand.
Make only a small adjustment with the lead foot if the club is long or short.
Use this walk-in on every shot for a full session.
Goal
Build a routine that sets ball position automatically, so it cannot drift during a round.
Feel cue
Feel your trail foot doing most of the stepping while the lead foot barely moves.
Mistake to avoid
Splitting both feet equally for every club — the lead foot stays roughly put and the trail foot sets the width, which is what keeps ball position consistent.
